Financial Markets Standards Board (“FMSB”) is pleased to announce the successful participant for its 2025 Board mentoring programme.
Giulia Pecce, Director, Head of Secondary Capital Markets and Wholesale Investor Protection Policy at the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME), joined the programme on 1 May 2025.
Niki Beattie, Non-Executive Director, Financial Markets Standards Board Limited said:
“I’m delighted that Giulia has joined the FMSB Limited Board as our 2025 Board Mentoring programme participant. Her international legal background, as well as her experience at the FCA and more recently her work at AFME gives her a unique and valuable perspective to bring to our discussions. In turn, through the programme, we hope that we can build on her governance experience, network and exposure to the challenges in global wholesale financial markets that our Members’ work seeks to address.
Now in its third year, we also hope that in time this programme will help to build the experience of a diverse group at senior level in the industry, increasing the pool of talent available to draw on at Board level in the future.”
Giulia Pecce, Head of Secondary Capital Markets and Wholesale Investor Protection Policy at AFME said:
“I’m delighted to have been selected to take part in FMSB’s Board Mentoring programme. I am sure that I will benefit hugely from exposure to the directors who make up the FMSB Limited Board, all of whom have many years of governance experience, as well as extensive experience of working in international financial markets. The work FMSB Members do developing Standards, Good Practice and Spotlight Reviews is hugely valuable to global markets and I’m also looking forward to learning more about the pertinent topics FMSB’s Committees are currently working on.”
FMSB is grateful to Teneo People Advisory for their support with the recruitment process for the Board Mentoring programme, which mirrored a genuine board recruitment process, in order to provide applicants with experience of how this works.
